OoC: Dammit you guys, remember I'm here too! Please don't back-and-fourth ten replies I have to read through, I wanna stay in the thread but it's kind of hard when you leave me behind. Just be patient, and give everybody a chance to post. Seriously, please, give everybody's characters a chance to act. Especially mine. It gets annoying when I can't do anything. And remember to let Eerie stay in too.
BiC:
His somewhat amused smile turned into more of a sneer, but his chin never left his palm and his pose never changed. He kept his eyes on Rokuro, that is, until that annoyingly optimistic entertainer pranced in. Her music and antics just weren't on Cosmos's side of the entertainment, and to him it was naught but an annoyance. But, like the rest of the place, he watched. Though, in silence and without a smile. Still, during her little song he couldn't help but play an imaginary keyboard pictured before himself, but then stopped, his fingers were moving too fast and lively for his liking. Eventually his mind began to slip towards that stunning golden pipe organ, its odd eerie tones that kept his sanity for at least a year. He was never alone as long as he still has his precious music... But, just as he was about to finally relax, something dove under him. It was a... No, too quick and unexpected for him to determine who or what it was. He wasn't in the mood for this. He just sighed and didn't seem to notice, knowing they'd move. They were under his table, anyway. He had barely paid attention to Raya's story, but he did snap back into reality to see Rokuro's girl leave. This pleased him a little, not the departure of the girl, but the indication that now it was night time and he could jump between forms as he pleased. Though now there was no need for it, he was only in his furry lycan form to have his senses open. Of course, now it would come in handy, now that the girl was gone he'd get a little bigger acknowledgement from Rokuro. But why in God's name did he see it as a good thing? The entertainer, she had looked at him too... Damn it all, he wanted to hide here, to get away... Then he remembered, the little scoundrel that had dove under his table. That had probably drawn attention to him. What started off as a nice, relaxing trip to the deep Darklands was quickly turning into a weird-fest. He knew he should have unwound in the city rather than this electricity-free place.

Somehow, his face reddened even more. "What? It's nothing like that, I just met her tonight! The owner's wife sent her over, I'm sure she was only over here because she was asked to come over!" His face felt very warm. Raya looked amused. "That isn't funny..." He could feel Cosmos's stare. For now, he would ignore him. He knew they would probably meet later, maybe Cos even had something he wanted to tell Rokuro. For now he couldn't be sure, so he would bide his time. He turned back to Raya, his face cooling. "Um, what brings you around here, Raya? Seems an odd place for an entertainer..." he said, trying to change the subject. Hopefully the former subject wouldn't be brought up again... As the two talked, he could still feel Cosmos's presence. He was agitated. Not a good thing. He took a bite out of his forgotten bread, and washed it down with his water. As usual, he had gotten strange stares when he asked for water and not ale, or wine, or something. He made a point of not drinking. Rokuro listened intently to Raya, though the other half of his mind drifted slightly. Memories, and Cosmos's presence, and the events of earlier all distracted him. Tonight would not be full of sleep, certainly...

She was quite amused at Rokuro's recation to her question. She hadn't expected that. His shyness was rather charming. Gigling softly she winked at him,"Heh, I only wanted a simple answer. As for how I got here?Well, you see, I'm lost. I don't really know how I got here and I don't know how to get back. But seems I got good buisness here. Prehaps I will stay for a day or two," She noted Rokuro's expression, and she glanced into the corner behind him, two glowing eyes met her's for a split seconed before she returned her glance to the just served stew, "Do you know him?" She asked simply. There seemed to be something on Rokuro's mind. She dipped her bread in the stew and awaited a reply.

After her little diving scramble under the table EerieRo started to grope around under the dark table for her hat. As her hand moved along under the table she thought, " Moron!! geting you hat knocked off like that" in saying so sighed to herself, "Oh well lets find it and get out from under here, let see; dirt, a coin, a button", then sticking her hand into something wet and flinching back from it " I don't want to know." The she grabed cloth " AH!" she thought, " my hat!" And with that she gave it a good pull, then to her surprise it resested her tug and started to pull back!! "NOT GOOD!!" she thought.

Yes, those two over there certainly knew he was here in the corner. He was sure of it now. He had put the stare on that entertainer, straight into her eyes, too. Cosmos hated to stare so much, as it was very rude, not to mention creepy when you've got something like him looking at you. But, his mind had begun to slip away again as he began to think about what this very moment would be like if things had gone his way. Candlelight turned into city lights, the little crowd before him turned into busling people, though only for a split second. Obviously he wasn't in the city right now, and he didn't know why he loved it so much, let alone why exactly he had come here. Though, recalling his latest visit to the oceanic city-nation it dawned on him that it wasn't quite as he had planned it also. Bad luck follwed him everywhere he went. Why did God wish to bestow such misfortune on one who wished to do no harm to anybody (unless provoked)? Oh yeah, he was a vampiric werewolf. Everything was slipping his mind today. But the thing that slipped his mind the most was the thing moving around under the table. He was about to get a stern reminder that something was there. Before he even had time to notice it, something had grabbed on to his coat and tugged hard. This took him completely by surprise, and on an impulse he pulled back. But quickly he realized that a tug-of-war with an expensive trenchcoat wasn't a very good thing. Without even looking down, he grabbed EerieRo's hand, released her grip from his coat, and put it onto what she was really looking for, her hat, which happened to be right by his left boot. At least he assumed that's what this rapscallion was looking for, and he hoped he was right. Then whatever that was down there could stop drawing attention to him, making all of those scavenging noises and such.
OoC: Sorry if that was a little bit of godmoding, but... It's not that major so I hope you're okay with it.

"Lost? That must be difficult..." his tone became dark,"The Darklands is a bad place to be lost in..." He glanced at Cos, then back to Raya. "You could say that... We have sort of an uneasy mutual respect thing... Whenever we meet it seems like bad things happen... For the time being I'm just going to leave him." He sounded almost as though he was saying this to himself rather than to Raya. "Uhh... I was going to offer to help you find your way out of here," he said, though he was lying. He didn't want to be around someone for too long. He continued, "but I plan on leaving tomorrow, and you're planning on staying a few days. I'm sure someone here will help you out." His thoughts were focusing a little more now. Liking the idea of talking to Raya for a bit longer, he pushed aside his fatigue.

Out of shock EerieRo almost bite her toung as Cos grabbed her hand and pulled it over to were her hat was , but in the next instant she shot up ramming her head into the table above her with a slight thud. With that she cluched her head with hat in hand over the lump that would soon come and let out a slight hiss noise, Rageing in her head, " nananananana! " Rubbing the spot on her head and some what ramming the hat over her head, " That smarts, a whole lot " thinking, " But I guess I had it coming, I should say I'm sssooooooooooooooooo sorry or my rudness." Seeing Cos's boot she poped her head out from under the table so sorry to the person for what she had done but as she came out " Ummmmmm sir....." was as far as she got cuz what she meet was most definitly not human, and with that her ears pricked forward and her hair stood on end!

Raya seemed to pause a moment, curious of the scene going on in he corner, She shifted her eyes back to Rokuro. "Well if you're headed out tomorrow I could come with you, a change in plans is never a problem with me. I should have enough money for a while. What do you say to that?" The girl sipped a little more stew. It was wonderful to have some good food in her stomach. Both Rokuro and herself seemed to be disturbed by the man's precence, so she made a sugestion, "Since that man seems to be an uneasy presence, prehaps we could sit outside after I finish my stew?" At that moment thunder could be heard in the distance. Raya winced. Cursed bad luck! She just hoped it wouldn't rain. She continued munching on her bread, dipping it in her soup and shewing it carefully.

Red werewolf eyes slipped down to the scoundrel who had finally decided to come out from under the table. And Cosmos couldn't help but prick his ears up too. This was the first time he had frightened anybody from them looking at him. What was the matter, had she not seen something like him before? He could sense she wasn't human either, so why was she afraid of him just by looking at him? Was he really that creepy? As the questions formed inside his head his face didn't change. It remained that cold and practically emotionless glace that he had just about as often as his madman grin. He was no longer leaning on the table, but had fixed his posture do to Eerie's little bump that had sent his palm into his jaw. And with those rediculously huge canine teeth he nearly bit himself. He looked down upon EerieRo with his stare. "It's quite alright, really." he said, knowing her studdering was the beginning of an apology. This little game had diverted his attention from Rokuro and Raya, but at this point he didn't mind, let alone care about them anymore. He was only observing them in the first place because that was all there was for him to do around this place. Maybe he'd order a drink and stop looking suspicious, but it would be no use. They already knew he was there, and on top of that he didn't feel like hauling himself to the front counter. Though he never took his eyes off Eerie, it did take a while to hit him. At first he thought she was just a normal, clumbsy little demonic creature, but that wasn't the case. She was a demon eater, and though he never encountered one before, he'd heard countless rumors that those things lived for eliminating things like him. His eyes went wide for naught but a split second. Oh God I hope she didn't see that... was what ran through his mind. Maybe, just maybe, if he created the deception that he was only a werewolf she wouldn't try anything... No, he could just tell by the look in those eyes that she wasn't going to make a move for him soon.

Oh great... He had been hoping to get away from Raya. He didn't want her to get hurt... Maybe he could just slip away early enough in the morning that she hopefully wouldn't be awake yet. Before he decided to answer about her going with him, he said quickly, "Well it might not rain, yet, so if you finish and it's still calm outside that might be nice." Hopefully it wouldn't rain... Cosmos seemed preoccupied with whatever had been under his table, but he didn't even feel like looking. Rokuro watched Raya for a minute. Why would she want to stay around with him? Why not just make some more money and find someone else to help out? Oh well, it wasn't something to worry about. He'd just have to leave early enough that she wouldn't be awake, that would be the best thing to do at this point. "Excse me for a minute, Miss Raya," he said as he stood and walked to the bar. "Excuse me, would it be alright if I had a room for tonight?" "Sure you don't wanna share Leyna's?" said the owner, laughing heartily. Rokuro's face reddened yet again. Would this ever stop? When he returned, Raya was near done her food. The rain hadn't started yet. That was a nice surprise anyway....

Raya smirked at the owners coment. She slurped up her last bit of soup trew the rest of the bread in her mouth and walked over to Rokuro leaning over the counter next to him. She swallowed her bread and requested a room for herself, also. She enjoyed being around all these people. Especialy Rokuro. He's was quite kind and was the first person she had had a conversation with in the longest time. She'd probably stick around for a while. There a sudden blinding flash and a great deafining crackle. Raya, spun her head and ran to the door taking a peak outside, nothing was visable over the tall walls surrounding the town, but she could smell it. She thought she could smell something burniing, a plume of smoke sprouting from the forest outside confirmed it. Fire... if a spark were to start in the town, this town would be completely wiped out in but a few hours....

As Cos's eyes stared down at her she stared back with white blank eyes wide as thoughts of, " great great great great!! ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what do I do I've never seen one of these before!" *sniff sniff sniff* "smells like a were and..................... a vamp.?" her hands figited a bit under the table as she was trying to move out from under it with out him realy seeing. But then for the slightest of a sec. she saw his eyes go wide, "Ohh great ever better he must know what I am," *gulp* "now he'll kill me for sure" her mind was in panic, " cuz he thinks I'll kill him and............." she thought wildly and then " I'll run thats it make a mad dash for the door and no fight with this ummmmm...... person, right person!" She then turned herself over in one motion and on all fours tryed to run for it, but her leg got stuck under the table and she landed flat on her face *SMACK!* "OUCH!!" her mined yelled as she she held her somewhat bleading nose, tears we staring to come down her face. Then her eyes whent wide as she rembered the werevamp. that was right behind her, closeing her eyes, "I'm dead!" she thought.

Though for some reason Cosmos wasn't afraid of being taken out by this... Thing, he could easily tell that she was much more afraid of being taken out by him than she should have been. He would not harm her, since he had no reason to. He had actually taken somewhat of a liking to her, she was seeing him as a threat. That was good, he liked that. He watched in a very curious fashion as she attempted to make a mad dash for the door, and failed horribly. Well, that was certainly cute to watch. It took him no more than a second to decide not to help her this time, he puts a hand on her now and she'd be sent into a more panicked state for sure. He didn't move, just kept watching, but not for long, after a few seconds he spoke again. "You'd best leave this area. A fire is coming. Did you not see the blinding light and hear the mighty crackling of burning forests?" Was he really intending to scare her even more? He certainly hoped not. His eyes followed Raya as she dashed to the door, and for the first time since this whole thing had started he stood up slowly. Now he could definately pick up the scent of the smoke as the wind carried it to the town. Though the area he and the inhabitants of the tavern were in was surrounded by a massive wall, if the fire was allowed to keep spreading then they'd be the only civilization for miles.

Always something... He stood straight, and tried to smile at the owner. The large man looked frightened. Rokuro walked over next to Raya, and leaned down a bit, putting his face closer to hers. "Don't worry about it, Miss Raya. It'll be fine, I promise." He walked back, then, to Cosmos. "Hi there. Maybe I should have said hello before, but I wasn't sure you would have wanted me to. Besides," he added, "I wasn't sure I wanted to. A mysterious killer, your home and all that the forest entailed, and..." He trailed off, not wanting to remember the other main experience. "I know I can't hold it against you, Cosmos, but now a fire. We have bad luck when we're together. "By the way, I have an idea, but if you do too I'm all ears," he added. Not waiting for a response, he walked to the door and exited. If Cosmos had an idea, he would let Rokuro know in just a moment. He walked quickly towards the gate, rain beginning to fall on him. He nearly laughed about that. People stared out their doorways at the red glow coming from the quickly advancing flames. They were getting strong already, the rain wouldn't help much. "Where are you going?" called the gatekeeper. "Outside. Please open the gate!" "I can't let you, don't you see the fire?" "Exactly!" The man considered for a minute, before he rushed off and opened the gate. Rokuro called up a short thanks and hurried out, cracking his knuckes to make sure his joints were loose enough for what he wanted to do.

It angered him slightly that Rokuro headed off without even waiting for a responce, but upon further speculation Cosmos realized it was better that he didn't say he honestly had no idea what to do. But Rokuro did, and Cosmos was curious. Calmly he walked to the door, and before exiting, turned to the people in the tavern. "Do not panic. The situation is under control." And with that, he left, hopefully he'd calmed them down slightly, frightened people only made bad go to worse. He looked around, first for Rokuro, but to no avail, the man had dashed off. Smoke from the fire was beginning to cover the town in an ashen fog, but of course, it didn't bother Cosmos at all. He could see perfectly fine. He then looked toward the gate, where the fire's scent was strongest, and he really didn't like the way it looked. It was as if the sun was rising over the wall. To some it would actually look pretty cool, but to the partially-vamiric Cosmos it was awful. At this point a couple townspeople had their eyes on him. Typical. He pretended not to notice and dashed off towards the gate where Rokuro had gone. Within a short distance of the wall he took a mighty leap of faith, and caught the top of the wall with his hands. Much to his disliking it was lined with a very sharp kind of barbed wire, and he quckly heaved himself all the way up. These people certainly knew how to protect themselves, that wire was pure silver. And damn did it hurt. It even started burning for a second, but nothing too extreme. If not for the snarl of pain he'd emitted shortly after he impaled himself, the gatekeeper most likely wouldn't have noticed. But he never did anything, he was already somewhat shocked, and the suddeness of the hulking lycanthrope coming up from the wall wasn't much help. Supporting himself with his boots like some kind of wild animal on top of a fence, Cosmos let the rain treat his bleeding hands, and watched Rokuro as he rushed toward the fire.
